Rico says he always hears a parody of that old Harry Belafonte song, "Hey, Mister Taliban, tally me bananas", whenever he reads about the Taliban in the news. It's funnier in his head...But in better news, Pakistani troops have killed about 25 pro-Taliban militants in fierce clashes in a tribal area along the Afghan border.
Rico says while the tribal areas in northwest Pakistan have been semi-autonomous and fairly lawless since Kipling's time, the Pakis are at least trying...
