We've seen this movie, too

Yesterday's deadly strike on an American outpost in Afghanistan didn't just kill nine U.S. soldiers. The Taliban attackers, who numbered as many as 200, managed to breach the walls of the remote base on the Pakistan border. "The insurgents, who were repulsed, came so close that some of their corpses were lying around the base afterwards."
"Quite clearly they wanted to overrun the outpost," said the Western official said of the insurgents. "It was a well planned, surprise attack."
