John McCain is warning that al-Qaeda "will step up terrorist attacks in Iraq leading up to the November election in the U.S."

Rico says that's probably true and, if so, really, really stupid. If they do nothing until the elections, we might get lucky and have Obama elected. He, unfortunately, will probably not prove to be a blood-thirsty president. If they make noises now, we might get lucky and have McCain elected; he, however, will not hesitate to bomb al-Qaeda back to the Stone Age where they belong...
