It was at an Angioma Alliance conference that I heard a woman describe her condition as "like being drunk", and I liked the phrase. It was succinct, people could relate to it, and it described the feeling perfectly.
But enough's enough. It was fun being drunk for awhile, but the thrill has worn off. (Okay, okay, I know I'll be like this for the rest of my life, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.)
Rico says he wants to be normal, or something passing for normal. But wishing won't make it so...
