My heroes have always been cowboys...

...and the current issue of Cowboys & Indians is no exception. Along with the usual assortment of delicious things I can't afford (jewelry, saddles, fancy cowboy boots), it has several great articles, including a piece on Tom Selleck (still one of Rico's favorite actors) and a list of notable cowboys (some real, some fictional), including John Wayne (of course), Charles Goodnight, Charles Russell, Buffalo Bill Cody, Bass Reeves, Bill Hickok, Richard King (of the ranch of the same name), Kit Carson, John Wesley Hardin, Pancho Villa, Will Rogers, Roy Rogers, Jesse James, Bill Pickett, Wyatt Earp, Frederick Remington, Gene Autry, and Billy the Kid.

Rico says the boots to get, of course, are from Paul Bond out of Nogales. Rico has a pair, and they're the best boots you can buy.
