Apologies are due

Apparently new DNA tests have finally cleared the Ramsey family of complicity in her murder twelve years ago: "In a statement seeking to silence suspicions surrounding relatives of the slain 6-year-old, prosecutors said new testing techniques on male DNA found on JonBenet's clothes did not match any family members."

Rico says he would have bet big money, and people's lives, on someone in that family being responsible for her death. He apologizes belatedly to the Ramsey family for his unfounded suspicions. (Though their behavior at the time didn't help.)
