Another great one gone

Over at Support Your Local Gunfighter, Philly blogger Wyatt Earp has just posted a recently-discovered photo of the body of slain war correspondent Ernie Pyle, shot on Ie Shima in April of 1945 by a Japanese sniper.
Another of Rico's heroes, Pyle was one of the best. Loved by his 'dogfaces', the common soldier, he did some of the best war reporting ever. But, like Capa, he didn't outlive his war...
