Finally, a truly sunny story

This New York Times on-line article shows the best of American ingenuity; it's why our business is still better than their business.
“A solar cell is just a big specialized chip, so everything we’ve learned about making chips applies,” says Paul Saffo, an associate engineering professor at Stanford.

Rico says he hopes they hurry up and figure it out; the faster we can make electricity and hot water from the sun and the faster we can use electricity to power our vehicles, the faster we can tell the oil-producing countries (notice that Rico didn't say "the Arabs", but we all know who he meant; there are non-Arab countries producing fossil fuels, like the UK and the Norwegians, but mostly they're not trying to kill us on the side, except for the Islamic but non-Arabic ones like the Iranians and the Indonesians) to go fuck themselves...

Rico also says we must stop using antiquated, if common, phrases like 'fossil fuels' to describe the primordial processes that, without recourse to any fossil-era plants or animals, continue to manufacture petroleum materials in the earth's crust...
