Leave Blogger? I don't think so

I note an interesting trend of late, among the blogs I follow (those in the sidebar, for instance).
Some of them are bailing on the use of Blogger as a home for their blogs, and going to domain-specific websites instead.
It's a small nuisance for me, because I have to update the links in the sidebar so that we can all visit them in their new electronic homes.
But blogging is so damn easy via Blogger, I can't imagine wanting to spend the money for hosting just to get away from it. (Though I do have more than one URL hosted with a nice local ISP, though, so I guess I could if I wanted to.)
I think I'll be here for awhile...
